Something about me

I was born in a year thoroughly advertised by a book authored by George Orwell. As Valdimir Vysotskiy once said, gifted with my looks and height, thank my parents for this grace. For some reason Vysotskiy mastered verse and rhyme a bit better than me. I should continue desciprtion of myself by writing something about the traits of my character, but I will resort from doing that. I'd rather describe my hobbies. Undoubtedly, mastering lighting techniques plays a large role in my life. I wouldn't state that I have already mastered it, absolute mastery is the one without limit and it is impossible to reach the top. Nevertheless, I possess a certain amount of skills and knowledge in this subject, but in any case developing new technical skills and learning new photographic tricks are both life-long processes.

My hobbies also include filming and postproduction, riding bicycles and travelling (tourism and meeting new people, exploring cities and countrires), reading books (My favorite writers are include but are not limited to Dovlatov, Hemingway, Remark, Fry, Bulgakov, Grishkovets, Chkhartishvili), listening music on vynil records (just like books my favorite include, but are not limited to jazz, rock-n-roll, alternative, electronics, classical music, heavy metal), certainly, watching movies (Kusturitsa, Coen brothers, Zemeckis, Darabont, Tarantino, Richie, etc.), collecting certain objects (photo cameras, sunglasses, hats, bicycles, sugar, candy packer inspector papers and other interesting whatnot). I also do fencing with with sabers and shoot moving targets with a crossbow. Without a doubt, this is not the extensive list of my hobbies, however, having vreated such a complicated linguistic construction describing my hobbies, you might have already forgotten the beginning.  That's why I'll stop this narrative.

I have graduated as a master of economic sciences, but more importantly, I have attended young railroadsmen courses for entire four times where I was given a document signed by Ministry of Transportation of the USSR. Perhaps, these four days have played a major role in the development of the character I already promised not to describe. But my restlessness and a passion for movement was already deeply embedded in me.

My social circle is rather large. I communicate with speleologists, journalists, musicians, students, artists, teachers, grossmeisters, athletes, photographers, actors, businessmen, entomologists, construction workers, poets and other representatives of the creative elites. Life often gives me opportunities to meet interesting people and socializing is always a pleasure for me because every person is like a book - the more the contents of the book, the more interesting it is. And this is a valuable trait.

I am putting my photographies for display on there. These photographs mean a lot to me, I feel them when I see them. I would not state that all of my works are marvels, I am not that arrogant, moreover, I am dissatisfied with some of them myself. However, if these pictures will cause emotions, even if these emotions are negative, than I will be satisfied - because the main aim of photography is to make impression and not let the auditory stay indifferent.
